WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT THE END TIMES?

The end times, also known as the apocalypse or the last days, refers to the period in which many religious beliefs hold that the world will come to an end. This concept has been present in various cultures and religions throughout history, and it continues to captivate the minds of believers and non-believers alike. In this article, we will explore the different interpretations of the end times and what they mean for humanity.

In Christianity, the end times are often associated with the second coming of Jesus Christ, also known as the Parousia. This event is described in the New Testament as the return of Christ to judge the living and the dead, and to establish his kingdom on earth. Many Christians believe that the end times will be marked by various signs, such as wars, natural disasters, and the rise of false prophets.

EVERYDAY LIFE IN BIBLE TIMES (ENGRAVE 1 OF 2)

Artisans of the past were occasionally commissioned by their benefactors to create works of art that delivered messages and captured beauty. One mode of delivery was engraving: the incising of words or images into clay, wood, stone, or metal. The process of engraving began with the purchase or production of the necessary tools for the job. The engraving tool could be a reed stylus, metal chisel, or flint point (Job 19:24; Jer 17:1), depending on the hardness of the

BIBLE CUSTOMS AND CURIOSITIES (EATING BLOOD FORBIDDEN)

These verses occur in the context of presenting a sacrificial animal as an offering to the Lord. The Israelites believed the blood of such an animal was sacred, since it carried the very essence of life itself. In a sense, the blood was the ransom price that atoned for their sins. It was to be drained from the animal and poured on the ground at the base of the altar.

Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

O Lord my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;

DOES GOD BECOME SO ANGRY AS TO REFUSE TO LISTEN TO PRAYERS?

God always listens to prayers, That does not mean, however, that He is always going to answer them or necessarily be pleased that the person is praying. In Jeremiah 14, God had already made up His mind that He was going to punish Israel for their sins. He told Jeremiah not even to bother praying for the people. Furthermore, He told Jeremiah that He wasn’t going to listen to the cries of the people.

MEN OF THE BIBLE (SIMON PETER “ORDINARY GUY, EXTRAORDINARY OPPORTUNITY”)

According to Matthew 4:18-20, “As [Jesus] was walking along the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, since they were fishermen. ‘Follow Me,’ He told them, “and I will make you fish for people!’ Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.”

DEFINITION OF THE DAY (MYSTERY RELEIGIONS PT 2 OF 2)

Many, but not all, of the deities worshiped in the mysteries were originally associated with fertility. As such, their associated myths often referred to the natural cycle as it waxes and wanes (for instance, Demeter) or to the dying and rising of a god (Attis, Adonis, Osirs). Some scholars thing that the mysteries used this feature of the myth to give symbolic expression of rising to immorality with the deity. However, not all scholars agree; some deities venerated in mystery religions did not die or rise; moreover, the exact use of the myth in the mysteries is often unclear, though some concept of immorality seems to be implied.
