Faith in God is a fundamental aspect of many people’s lives. It is a belief in a higher power that provides comfort, strength, and hope in times of uncertainty and adversity. Faith is not just a religious concept, but a universal one that is shared by people from all walks of life. It is the foundation of spirituality and a means of finding meaning and purpose in life.
Faith in God is rooted in the belief that there is a divine force that created and sustains the universe. This belief can be reinforced through personal experiences and encounters, religious teachings, and traditions. For many, faith is a way of connecting with something greater than themselves, and it provides a sense of purpose and direction in life.
In the beginning God created an ordered, harmonious universe. It was a creation where everything had its place and function. It was a beautiful, good, and blessed creation. God also made special creatures: humans. Humans represented God in his creation. In addition, God created humans as relational beings. Humans were meant to relate to God (he walked alongside them,) to creation (they were the caretakers of the garden), and to each other (God instituted marriage and family life).
One of the biggest surprises in the Bible is the kind of Messiah God sent to save Israel. Jews expected a warrior. Someone like King David, only better. A leader who would free them from oppressors. restore Israel’s lost glory, and even create heaven on earth.
As for God, his way is perfect” (Psalm 18:30). God’s way is perfect because His thinking is 100% perfect. His thoughts are perfect because He is 100% perfect in His being. About eight billion people live in the world today. If God created only 99.9 percent of them with a purpose, then He would have no clue why He created eight million of those people. But there is no person created without a purpose. With a 99.9 percent memory, God would have no remembrance of six whole years of the six thousand years since Creation.
