Through Jesus we have an open door to God’s forgiveness and eternal life. The Good News is full of hope, and responding to Jesus is the start of a new life. God’s Holy Spirit makes us a new creation (see 2 Corinthians 5: 17). We’re not just turning over a new leaf; we are starting a new life and putting Jesus in charge.
