Jesus could not live without prayer. When Jesus sought out solitary places for prayer, He gave a clearer picture of the three persons of God (the Trinity)-God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Although Jesus had been present with God the Father from the creation of the world. His visit to this world in the form of a human body placed restrictions on Him that He had not known previously. Though separated physically from God the Father, He maintained contact through prayer.
Jesus knew that if He was going to meet men and women, He must first meet with God the Father. In prayer Jesus kept His mind in perfect agreement with His Father. The task of meeting the needs of the hurting people required that Jesus be full of that divine power. Prayer strengthened Him to do the work that had to be done.
MARK 1:35 – 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
