SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY (LUKE 19:11-27)

11. And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

FAITH TO FAITH (STAND UP AND BE COUNTED)

Pray so that you won’t be influenced by natural reactions and natural responses to cleverly designed commercials and ideas.

We are commanded to pray for our country and our leaders. But having prayed, God expects us to act. The elections in the United States are vital to the future of this nation. Our country is in the midst of a spiritual outpouring, and it’s vitally important that the right people be elected. We must see to it.

WHEN GOD GETS ANGRY.

Many people are troubled by Old Testament images of God as an angry, vengeful deity. Nahum 1:2 (NIV) says, “The LORD takes vengeance and is filled with wrath. The LORD takes vengeance on his foes and vents his wrath against his enemies.” Some people wonder if God evolved from a God of wrath into a God of love. No, He says, “I am the LORD, I change not” (Malachi 3:6 kjv).

SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY (MATTHEW 24:1-35)

24 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

BIBLE CUSTOMS AND CURIOSITIES ( JESUS THE LIGHT)

The apostle Peter declared in this verse that Jesus the Messiah had been foretold in the Old Testament. These prophecies were like “a light that shineth in a dark place.” But when He arrived on earth, the full light of His glory burst forth, like the dawning of a new day.

FAITH TO FAITH ( HOW’S YOUR SPIRITUAL MAINTENANCE?)

Did you know that the seemingly innocent things in your everyday life can suffocate your spiritual life you allow it?

A friend of mine said the Lord told her in prayer one day that this nation had become a nation of maintenance men. “You have so many things to maintain,” He told her. “You maintian your house. You maintian your car, your yard, your machines, your hair…. ”

DEFINITION OF THE DAY (PALESTINE PT2)

For the purposes of this article, Palestine extends to the north 10 to 15 miles beyond the ancient site of Dan and NT Caesarea Philippi (later called Banias) into the gorges and mountains just south of Mount Hermon. To the east it extends to the Arabian steppe. To the south Palestine extends 10 to 15 miles beyond Beersheba. On the west is the Mediterranean Sea. It therefore includes western Palestine-between the Jordan and the Arabian steppe.

SCIPTURE OF THE DAY (MARK 9:42-50 “CAUSING OTHERS TO LOSE FAITH”)

42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
