ALPHA AND OMEGA – The first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. This title is given to God the Father and God the Son (Rev 1:8; 21:6). The risen Christ says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last” (Rev 22:13). By calling Jesus

Christ the Alpha and the Omega, the writer of the Book of Revelation acknowledged that He is the Creator, the Redeemer, and the Final Judge of all things.
