SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY PSALM 110:1-7 (JESUS CHRIST, THE MESSIAH)

jesus-christ-cross

Jehovah said to my Lord the Messiah, “Rule as my regent–I will subdue your enemies and make them bow low before you.” Jehovah has established your throne in Jerusalem to rule over your enemies. In that day of your power your people shall come to you willingly, dressed in holy alter robes. And your strength shall be renewed day by day like morning dew. Jehovah has taken oath and will not rescind his vow that you are a priest forever like Melchizedek. God stands beside you to protect you. He will strike down many kings in the day of his anger. He will punish the nations and fill them with their dead. He will crush many heads. But he himself shall be refreshed from springs along the way.

Note: This verse is from THE KIDS APPLICATION BIBLE

  1. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
  2. The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
  3. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from they womb of the morning:  thou hast the dew of thy youth.
  4. The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
  5. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
  6. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the head over many countries.
  7. He shall drink of the brook in the way:  therefore shall he lift up the head.
