1.Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

² To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!

³ And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?

The Gospel was never meant to be confined to a single day or a single moment of worship. It is the power of God that transforms lives and it is meant to be lived out every day. Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” This power is not limited to Sunday mornings. It is meant to shape how you live from day to day.

The foundation of the Christian life is not simply following rules or adopting a moral code. It is the reality that Christ lives within you. This truth changes everything. Colossians 1:27 declares, “Christ in you the hope of glory.” This means that the life you now live is not meant to reflect your old nature but the character of Jesus working through you.

Jesus did not call His followers to blend into the world. He called them to stand out. In Matthew 5:14 and 16 He said, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden… let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” This is not a suggestion but a calling. To represent Christ daily is to live in such a way that His light is seen through you.

Discipleship is not a title. It is a life of daily surrender to God through Jesus Christ. It is not confined to a building or a moment of worship but is lived out continually wherever you are. Scripture teaches that to follow Christ is to walk as He walked. 1 John 2:6 says, “Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did.” This calling reaches into your home, your workplace, and every part of your life.
