1.When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

³ Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

There are moments in every believer’s life when heaven seems quiet. Prayers feel unanswered. Worship feels heavy. The closeness you once felt with God appears distant. In these seasons, it is easy to question whether God is still listening or working. Yet spiritual silence does not mean spiritual absence. Often, God uses dry seasons to deepen your faith in ways that constant emotional highs never could.

There are seasons in life when you feel shattered. Plans fall apart. Relationships end. Doors close. Prayers seem unanswered. In those moments, it can feel as if everything around you is breaking. Yet Scripture reminds us that being broken does not mean being destroyed. God often uses broken places to shape stronger vessels.

The apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 4:16 that though outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day. Pain may affect your circumstances, but it does not have the power to cancel God’s purpose. What looks like loss on the outside can be spiritual renewal on the inside.

Faith that has never been tested is faith that has never been strengthened. Just as the strongest trees develop deep roots because they have endured violent winds, believers grow deeper in God when they withstand spiritual storms. Trials are not interruptions to your growth. They are the very tools God uses to build it.

There are seasons in life when the heat feels unbearable. The pressure mounts, the opposition increases, prayers seem delayed, and you wonder why God would allow such intensity. Yet Scripture reveals that what feels like destruction is often divine refinement. God does not waste fire. He uses it to purify, strengthen, and prepare His people.
